We thoughtfully blend modern AI technology with the deep wisdom of our ancestors to create safe and nurturing spaces, empower mental health and well-being, and actively protect our sacred languages and rich cultural heritage. About Joseph Greatsky (Kitchekeesik)
Joseph Greatsky is the visionary behind WhiteFeatherAI, an AI-powered mental health companion rooted in the strength and stories of Indigenous communities. A proud Cree and Ojibway man from Brokenhead Ojibway Nation with ancestral ties to Tataskweyak Cree Nation, Joseph carries the legacy of his family’s leadership and resilience—stretching back to treaty signers and warriors of Turtle Island.
Joseph is a father, a builder, a dreamer, and a doer. With lived experience navigating mental health challenges—including his own journey with Bipolar 1—Joseph knows firsthand the importance of culturally safe, trauma-informed tools for youth. His mission isn’t just to create an app—it’s to build a lifeline. A bridge. A voice in the dark.
As Vice President of Greatsky Sovereign Trust Inc., Joseph is helping lead multi-generational efforts to reclaim economic sovereignty, advance Indigenous innovation, and uplift nations from coast to coast
In 2025, he launched WhiteFeatherAI with a singular focus: saving lives. The platform is more than software. It’s a movement of healing, identity, and empowerment—combining AI with spirit-guided choices such as "The Elder," "The Warrior," and "The Medicine Man.” and “The Medicine Woman”. Joseph is creating something the world has never seen: AI that listens like a friend and speaks like a relative.
Joseph believes in the future—but never forgets the past. He’s spoken of a coming “WhiteFeather Walk,” a tour where he’ll visit First Nations communities across the land to share this vision, speak truth, and give youth the tools to rise.
As he often says,
